About

Lulu Taragos

I am an Eclectic Body Worker.

My approach consists of “elements drawn from a variety of sources.”

I am also a Physical Therapist, board certified and established in my industry with licensing and accreditation.

40 years of practical experience working in an outpatient clinical setting and many hours of additional training have made me a master of my craft.

During those years, I realized that the traditional clinical model didn't allow me enough time to treat and think creatively about the individual needs of my clients. So over 30 years ago I also began a  Bodywork pratice of my own, which has become Buku Bodywork.

This practice grants me more time to integrate my love for the body, to listen, be empathetic and use my accumulated skill.

BUKU BODYWORK is a cash based service. I do not keep medical records or bill third party payors.

My passion is to allow these hands to awaken and inspire positive transformation in the bodies  of the people who invite me to touch them. I incorporate all that I have learned about anatomy and kinesiology, the fascial network and energetic architecture of the physical and subtle bodies.

I am expanding my clinical knowledge of Aromatherapy. Clients may find the use of essential oils a powerful addition to the healing journey.

I strive to live each moment  with gratitude and maintain a deep connection to spirit in my daily life through meditation.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important to me, I run and jump and play in a variety of ways and consciously eat a clean and healthy diet.

I subscribe to a high level of Professionalism by providing consistent quality work and impeccable customer service.

My Reputation is solid with a history of satisfied customers giving many “Kind Words

I would be honored to be part of your journey.
